I always go bathing suit crazy every spring, stocking my dresser with enough bikinis and one pieces to wear a different suit basically every day from May to August. Which is fine and all, but I have a serious habit of neglecting anything to actually put over the swim. You know, for the other 20+ hours each day that I’m not actually sitting on a beach.
…but now I have the opposite problem, my Honeybum cover-ups are TOO cute that I don’t want to take them off! (Which is actually better since the summer bod isn’t exactly ‘sculpted’ this year LOL. sigh.)
Anyways, back to the point. My love affair with HoneyBum is still in full bloom and for good reason. Their cuts are flattering and flirty, prints bright and fun… and prices? Well let’s just say you don’t have to feel guilty throwing in that extra romper(s) to your order. …And believe me save that extra $ for the rompers, these are the only two beach cover ups you’ll need this summer.
Honeybum: Modern Femme Dress, size S: East coast stripes with a scandalous LA plunge. Nothing says figure flattering like the knot in the middle dress, seriously.
Swim top by my absolute favorite, Amaio Swim | Silver pain in the ass wrap sandals, but worth it for the compliments: Steve Madden | Glasses are American Eagle from TJ Maxx | Dog: not designer, not for sale
Location: Malibu, California on a private beach off of PCH
Classy stripes are fun, but no summer is complete without crochet. I mean, what would one even wear to a rooftop Hollywood pool otherwise? Exactly. That’s why you need two amazing cover ups this summer to round out your wardrobe. One for the ocean, and one for the pool.
HoneyBum: Risk It All Crochet Dress in Black, Size Small.
Glasses are from Forever, Backdrop is courtesy of my favorite rooftop pool ever: Petite l’ermitage
No matter where you end up, who you end up wearing, and how much aloe it takes to cool off – soak up every Despacito moment of summer 2017. xo
