CBD, or cannabidiol, is a nonpsychoactive compound derived from the Cannabis plant. It has risen to fame in 2019 after mounting evidence that CBD may lessen anxiety, inflammation, insomnia, aches and pains. I use it primarily to help me slow down, be more present, and unwind. It’s also been instrumental in helping me ween off of a nightly glass of wine. I’m a CBD believer. I’ve experienced the effects first hand, and with zero evidence suggesting there might be adverse side effects, I feel confident that CBD will continue to be a staple in my daily routine.

The market is overwhelmingly saturated with CBD products.
