I just returned home from a 3 week stint in Europe and I couldn’t have been happier with the roundup of beauty products I packed. Here’s what made the cut:
FACE CLEANSER: Leahlani Tropical Enzyme Cleansing Oil
I wanted to bring something gentle yet effective in removing makeup and dirt that wouldn’t strip my skin of natural oils. Whenever I fly my skin gets incredibly dry, and I needed a cleanser that wouldn’t further dry or irritate my skin. I love Leahlani products because they’re all natural and smell heavenly.
FACE LOTION, DAYTIME: Paula’s Choice Essential Glow Moisturizer
I fell in love with Paula’s Choice a few years ago, when I was really struggling with rosacea. Now that my skin woes have subsided (read how I cured rosacea here), I have switched up the line of Paula’s Choice I use most frequently. Now I am all about keeping my face safe from pollutants and the sun while offering maximum, non greasy, hydration. I love this particular face lotion because it has SPF 30, a little goes a long way, and my makeup glides over it easily. AND it’s packed with 12 antioxidants!
FACE LOTION, NIGHTTIME: Paula’s Choice Nightly Reconditioning
I also favor Paula’s Choice for my overnight lotion. It similarly helps with detoxing the skin from pollution from my long travel days and is full of superfoods that nourish my skin. It’s also light enough that I don’t feel like I’m sleeping in a face mask at night!
SERUM: Ford Wellness Neuro Peptide Serum
In my normal routine at home, I use a daytime and nighttime serum from Ford Wellness. But in an attempt to save on travel space I decided to just bring one serum along. I chose the Neuro Peptide Serum because the growth factor helps provide long lasting moisture while reducing signs of aging. I decided against bringing my retinol serum because I knew I’d be getting a lot of sun and retinol can cause adverse reactions when mixed with prolonged sun exposure.
FACE MASK 1: Joah Skin Polish Gold Peel Off Mask
Truthfully, I brought along this mask mostly because it’s so fun to cover your face in gold. I’m also mildly obsessed with all things kbeauty. I love a good peel off mask to help unclog pores and reveal a smoother complexion, but have found charcoal peel off masks to be too drying.
FACE MASK 2: Leahlani Skincare Superfood Mermaid Mask
This mask is seriously indulgent and I loved that the class container was eco-friendly and easy to pack. If you’re after a nutrient dense all-natural face mask to moisturize and rejuvenate your skin, look no further!
HAIR SERUM: Agave Oil
The best serum on the market. Lightweight, all natural, delightful scent and it tames my unruly locks – even after spending a day swimming in the Mediterranean Sea or cruising in a convertible. I keep this stuff on me at all times when traveling to seal my ends and smooth my hair.
SUNLESS TANNER: Bahama Tan
I swear by this organic sunless tanner. It glides on a beautiful toasty tan and wears off naturally after 2 showers or swims. I apply it every other day while traveling mixed with equal parts body lotion.
DEODORANT: Wren Naturals, Grapefruit Scent
Once you get over applying deodorant with your fingers, you’re going to love this all natural deodorant. Not only does it work and smell great, the packaging is eco-friendly and compact for travel.
BODY LOTION: Agave Healing Coconut Oil Lotion
This rich lotion is incredibly fragrant and nourishing. And best of all, a little goes a long way. I don’t pack body lotion if I’m only staying at hotels, but this trip was a mix of hotel and airbnb stays, so this tsa approved lotion made the cut.
EYE CREAM: Still Searching
I’m not going to mention the one I packed, because I haven’t found ‘the one’. If you’ve got any good recs for an eye cream that works, I’m all ears (or eyes)!
